Experiments

Using an old film camera, out of date film, and self-developing, these experiments explore the uncontrollable and celebrating the happenstance combination of flaws that can produce interesting results.

The uncontrollable nature of using out-of-date material and equipment, combined with simple ‘kitchen table’ developing, brings a sense of unpredictability to the outcomes. In opposition, to the (sometimes) dispassionate, defined, output of digital equipment, I am exploring through a more traditional and characterful process.
